The time has come, where we have grown to be seniors and now we approach the steps towards college. The four years of high school are coming to an end, as we start a new life towards are future. We are going through the process of applying to colleges now, we learned how to write the essays, apply online, and hope for the best. These last two weeks, we learned the do's and dont's of writing the perfect essay, also that we should have a full idea of the climate of the campus we have chosen. There are certain things one should mention in their essays, like true feeling and we should show some weaknesses to bring out the strengths in us. We shouldn't speak of drugs or depressing situations in are lives, its not that important to the reader. Those are just some of the examples we learned in class, there were many other helpful ideas brought up to us. With that said, we all need to focus the rest of this year on are grades and make sure we apply before its too late, no one should regret not registering or being late. Hopefully we all get accepted to the colleges we desire.

Man, reading your post about how we're applying to colleges now made me really think about how much time has past. All the work and things we've done during high school is going to show how far we've made it. Of course, there's the occasional regret where we feel like starting over and doing better but there's no turning back. I'm really curious to see where all of us are going to be in 20-30 years.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a scary thing growing up... but at the same time, it's pretty exciting.
