Infulences.

The other day in class we were asked to read and answer a question we feel relates to us. The question I choose was;
What character or story has influenced somthing you've done or a decision you have made? Explain.

After reading some literary work in and outside of class, Ive become more aware of my surroundings and the many opportunites that are given to me that I used to let pass by. I have also become become more grateful of what I have. Before when an opportunity came for something school related or anything outside of school, I usually wouldnt take it becasue I was scared I would let myself or others down, but now Ill take the opportunity and the chance and know even if I fail its better than not trying. Most of the books we have read are about people of lower class and dont have an opportunity to be able to overcome what they are born into but still they try everything in their power to move up in class or make a name and be noticed. I feel in some way these characters can be an inspiration to some, becasue though they live in poverty they still find a way to live and have faith and hope no matter how many times it was broken and are grateful for what little they have.
